Loaded: A comparison of fast food items

Using nutritional data from Wendy's, McDonald's and Burger King, I converted each item's Calorie, Total Fat, Saturated Fat, Cholesterol, Sodium, Carbohydrate, Dietary Fiber and Protein content into an index of what percentage each metric represented in their respective Recommended Daily Intake.

Each endpoint on a polygon represents a percentage value; the inner circle is 50% of the RDI, while the outer circle is 100% of the RDI. That said, some items actually contain over 100% of RDI in some metrics. Some interesting patterns emerge, namely the different polygon shapes between beef and poultry.

In addition to plotting individual items, I constructed typical meals for each restaurant, showing the nutritional toll of a complete fast food meal.
